Greetings & Salutations,
I have a house in Colorado Springs that I want to sell (before the bottom falls out of the market), that part is simple, and it would be, BUT...my renter is an old employee with an 11th grader. Yes for the past 7 years, she has been getting a great deal, at substantial cost to me, BUT having someone in the house has allowed it to go up in value.
During this time, she has apparently opened up a ton of credit cards, ruined her credit etc, there is no way for her to get a loan to buy the house, but apparently now she won't even be able to pass a credit check to try to rent another place (and the average rents there now are WAY more than she is paying.
While I know it is "not my problem", I would still like to try to find something that could help her and her son (her parents won't, her bosses are "trying") to minimize the disruption for them. She has asked for another 6 months or so, which I cannot do. Once we sell our parents house and close the estate, I was planning on using the same realtor to get mine gone as well.
Besides practical advice (she needs to get her crap together), does anyone know of anything that can help to make this a WIN/WIN situation? That is what I try to strive for in all things, but since we can't really DO magic on another's behalf, I am at a loss as to the best way to go about trying to do the best I can.
Cheeers,
Conor Sunwolf
I would work with Raphael, and keep the focus on yourself, rather than her... doing everything for the highest good of all is sufficient.
Thank you Ariel. The suggestion about lifting of the burden and giving it to a higher power is a great one. She has said that I have done so much for her and her family over the past 10 years, and she is just freaking out because 1) she cannot get another deal like this anywhere 2) she has trashed her credit and 3) She doesn't like change.
As for the Win/Win - I was told by my father decades ago when I was working for him, that is the goal, that way everyone wins. It seems to go best with a Pagan mindset as well.
I keep trying to give suggestions as I come across them (maybe get a roommate who can put things in their name while she pays down her credit cards), but I will be coming up with a firm date shortly. I want to see how this real estate agent does with our family home, and if she wants to take mine on as well - maybe she will have some suggestions s to dates, and perhaps some more suggestions for the renter.
Any particular angels or higher powers that would jump out to anyone? I' thinking of St. Jude (patron saint of impossible situations from my old catholic faith lol) or ,Odin for Wisdom, St. Joseph for selling a house but that shouldn't be an issue in the current market. Off to research more.
Blessed Be,
Conor
MM @Conor Sunwolf ! I LOVE that you want win/win! That's not always in our power, but it is within the power of the Angels or whichever version of your higher power you are working with. If it were me, I would probably do a ceremony to lift this burden off my shoulders and give it to a power that can handle it. After that, I might talk to my renter and ask her what she would suggest; What would she do if the roles were reversed? I might also tell my renter that I am keeping positive thoughts for them that they have a wonderful resolution to this situation; and that they need to be out by such and such a date.
