what am I seeing

hi, I recently got done with the power base portion of the primer and one of the assignments was to stare or meditate on a candle for I forget the amount of time I was doing I think like ten min but the first time I did this I saw a set of eyes in Aurora around the flam nothin g else just the eyes clearly male no matter what angle I chose they remained . it doesn't happen every single time but very regularly ., I do this at my alter by the way .I was just wondering who or what could it mean . I. had previously a few days before asked my spirit mentor to talk with me or show thereselves could this be it ? I asked if he was my mentor and I couldn't hear or pick up on a answer . which other then when I asked through the meditation what his name was and even then I seen it written not spoken and it was like 30 min after meditation when I was dozing off but haven't been able have any communication since or am I way off and the eyes have nothing to do with that
