Been a difficult week to keep with up with but progress is being made!
The highlght so far has been the Spirit of Money meditation where my relationship with money changed instantly. Instead of money being something that was always out of my reach and if I did get hold of it I had to hang on to it for dear life as if it's main aim was to get away from me!
I learnt it is a softer, more compassionate spirit. Wanting to help me and not trying to escape from my grasp at any given moment. But wanting me to see it is a two way relationship and we need to work together - it is not my adversary - it is my friend.
Also the waning moon flips (as they are called on WBB). I never really got to grips with this on WBB but now I can see the power of them. I wrote down my first negative thought I wanted to banish and then all of th e additional thougths linked to it. There were some surprises but it all made sense.
When I did the postive thoughts I was careful to follow the instruction on the 3B lecture and not just write down the opposite of the negative but really think about what positive thought would be useful to cancel out the negative.
So for 'I have a poverty mindset as I am scared of being made redundant' I changed it to 'I am not being made redundant' - which is true - as opposed to 'I will not be made redundant' which has less power because it may or may not be true.
'We never had any money when I was growing up' changed to 'All my needs were met when I was growing up' which was true. May not have had as much as my peers but I was well fed, had a warm and loving home, went on holiday etc.
It's a powerful method and I am really looking forward to banishing the next six negative thoughts

Lucretia I’ve been banishing my negative thoughts as well. What I’ve noticed is my negative thoughts are deeply rooted in childhood. I feel saddened by some of the recurring negative thoughts. What I’ve been doing is sending love and compassion to those painful wounds.
Bless you, Kat Kitty. This reminds me of one of Ariel's lectures when he explained that all thoughts - including negative ones - are trying the help us but as we grow older and change they can remain fixed so they are no longer helpful.
So we aknowledge and thank them for what they are trying to do - as you say - send love and compassion - and then use that same energy for those thoughts which currently serve us. Or - as I think Ariel put it - tell the thoughtform what we would like it to do instead of the old negative patterns.
Isn't all this so wonderful - being able to use our minds in such a conscious and deliberate way? I find it so exhilarating. BBX
Lucretia I would love to listen to Ariel’s lecture. By any chance do you remember which one it was? I may sound a little crazy but I’m grateful for the challenges in my life. We look at a beautiful samurai sword in a museum as a work of art. Few people consider what that blade went through. The heat, the pounding, the extreme temperatures. I believe we are pieces of medal with the opportunity to become art. I agree with you, Lucretia it’s all so exhilarating. BB
Oh I'm sorry @Kat Kitty - I've listened to so many of the lectures over the years I have no idea but I will tell you if it comes to me. Love the samurai sword analogy - so true. Really made me think what kind of person i would be without the challenges I've had. BBX
Lucretia, okay. Thank you!!! BB
Kat- it is touched on in the personality facet meditation as part of WBB. Also a bit in the lecture called The Power of Effectiveness I believe... as i Just heard it the other day. I'm not 100% but its such a great lecture if its not in there something else good is!!! It comes up in a few lectures. BB!!!!!
I bet it was WBB where I heard it as I knew it was quite recent. Thank you @Rae you’r a ⭐️
Rae, you are such a sweetheart! Thank you! Sending you many happy blessings! BB
