Magic list, talismans, and psalms, oh my!

I watched the magic list video and took notes last night. I was really delighted by how easy it was for me to make all of those lists. Especially the ones that, at first, looked intimidating. I have been wanting a system with which to make changes and this set of exercises, along with meditation and working with the Solar Light, feel doable, exciting, and not overwhelming. The list of desires and the process of looking at them afterward through the lense of our sphere of influence is a really good way for me to stay focused on changes I need now. I have a tendency to put the cart before the horse. This gives me a space in which to dream about the cart but remain focused on caring for the horse. 😊

I’ll throw this out there to get some insight from all you wonderful folks.. I found as I started to work on my list that as I broke things down to small bites that it started to look like a to do list.. this got in my head and made it feel less ”magical”.. I started to feel like I must be missing the mark.. or am I just over thinking it...

@Deborah, are you doing magic for things you "should" be/do/have, or things you truly desire?

Using a list magically doesn't feel like a to do list to me at all... these are things I want to bring about. I only need to work magic on one item at a time, but all six get treated. It's a great way to speed up things. It's a system that works literally like a charm. It may not seem magical to you, but it really does work if you work it. BB

I am finding it hard to get things within my workable sphere of influence that I want to do. There is a lot of stuff that is too easy or too hard. Anyone else find that to be the case ever?

I took things that looked to difficult and broke them into smaller pieces. And focused on things I know I can do but feel I need help getting to.

The easier stuff just made it feel more like to-do list stuff... and I guess made me realize some of the things that were too high on sphere of influence were just things I needed to buckle down and get done! Ariel, thank you so much for all that you share! I feel so much gratitide for your teachings! I am doing my best to not imagine *how* changes will occur, and to remind myself that I don't need to know. It really is so much easier when you give things over to deity and simply do the work that is put before you. There is great freedom in not twisting over decisions that *I* shouldn't even be making. Goddess makes better, and informed, choices. ♡

I also like how it helps me to break things into smaller goals. If something comes up and my first instinct is to feel bad because I might not have the money or if its really out of my sphere I throw it on the list that isn't part of the 6 and can think that its being on worked on anyway!
