I’m glad to hear that offerings are not required as I always felt graditude and giving up negative thought forms was far more effective . But, I thought that I would ask since we are about to start the 18 week witches primer
AND it's perfectly fine to give offerings!!! I do it myself from time to time, but it's spontaneous for me, not part of any ritual, nor is it something that's expected or required.
What do you mean by offerings? I don't use offerings in my magic. It's not "wrong" per se, but it's not really anything I teach. The Craft talks about paying the price, but that's not food, or drink. Each spell will have its own price. Often the most difficult payment is the giving up of the personality defect that is either creating or supporting the problem you are trying to solve. My tradition also teaches the wisdom of the giveaway. That's discussed in the prosperity seminar and the upcoming money magic course. It's basically tithing. But that's done in order to invoke the Law of Just Compensation, not to appease some deity or spirit with food or drink.BB
We'll see if I have anything to say about offerings in the Primer. I can't remember if I mention it or not. BB
