Interesting....I thought heathen was an endearing term...not ment in a really nasty way...more of a quality that is lacking in the other party...or a genuine term of someone of a different faith....fiona
Similar to "Pagan" in meaning. And like the word Pagan, it was used as a term of insult by ancient scriptures and more recently Christians to refer to people who were following religions other than those using the insult.Many new-pagans have "reclaimed" both of those terms.
People today ..believe the same thing...use different language too Express it.
