Merry meet! I've been trying to practice the tablets from lesson 1 only for a few months, and tomorrow I'll be invoking the Shekinah for the first time (yay!). As I fumbled a tablet recently, I went back to lesson 1 for the first time in a while (in the beginning, I went over it many times, but haven't revisited it in some months) and it turns out many things were overlooked by me! Even when looking at it many times and listening to the audio. So I am going by Ariel's advice and taking it slowly, going back to the basics before I move onto anything else (apart from invoking Shekinah tomorrow since the next opportunity for a first-time invoking is in a month). So I have a few clarification questions. :)
As we are to use black ink/pencil on the banishing tablet, do I understand correctly that the invoking tablet does not require a specific ink color, just white paper?
To clarify, we keep our Invoking Tablet until the second day of the new moon (the first day after the 3-day orb of the dark moon) to burn/tear it, but we do not keep the Banishing Tablet and therefore we destroy it right after we draw it and state our petition? I have been keeping my Banishing Tablets and destroying them at the full moon, and I don't know where I got that idea other than mirroring the process with the Invoking Tablet. :)
White flowers for the moon -- also on the second day of the New Moon (today)? I pick the flowers outside now in the spring, so when there are no flowers growing outside, do we buy white flowers for the moon or can we also do substitutes, such as drawing white flowers for the New Moon and putting that by the window so the moon can see?
Flipping money in the wallet three times -- must this be done at night during the New Moon or can it be during the day as well (since the moonlight should shine on the money, but since it doesn't have to be visible, I assume daytime is ok or does this just mean it should be at night and doesn't matter if it is cloudy/hiding the moonlight)? If we have no money in the wallet, should we take some out of the bank to have it there, or is that something we should avoid altogether (as in, avoid not having any in the wallet) by keeping a certain amount we won't spend (like the biggest bill to keep in your wallet at all times for emergencies as mentioned in PMM)?
Thanks so much for your input! Many blessings and Happy New Moon! <3
Merry meet, @k.stejskalova
You don't need to use colored paper or pens for either of the tablets from lesson one, either banishing or invoking.
The banishing tablet is destroyed the day you make it.
It' s not technically the "second day of the new moon." It's the "new moon." The dark moon is the three day orb before, during and after what the calendar calls the "new moon." So the first day after the dark moon is called the "new moon." Yes. that's the day you would put white flowers out. If you don't have them, it's not a problem to not do it however.
You should do your best to flip the money when the moon is visible, or would be visible if there were no clouds... so right at/after sunset is best. BB
