spirits vs. deities

Hi, Ariel.

In the type of magic you teach, it seems like angels and other spirits are seen as having some amount of sentience or individuality, whereas gods & goddesses are treated more like abstract concepts.

Are angels and other disembodied spirits similar to humans in the sense that they’re spiritual beings who are interconnected on some level while remaining distinct from one another, or are they more like gods & goddesses in the sense that they’re expressions of a singular force that only seem like they're distinct from one another?
