Had a q as I was listening to the Micro Magic vintage lecture...when we talk about the example of doing a spell for the oranges, should I not then go to the store? If I go to the store, is it bc the spell compelled me to do so? I love this concept as a way to build sphere of influence, but I also want to be sure that I am building my faith by seeing that it worked...so if in this example, if I go to the store myself to get the oranges, am I removing the faith bc I did it myself (aka I didnt think the spell would work so I just went to the store myself?).
Appreciate your thoughts on this concept.
Blessed Be,
Lauren
@Lauren Ganim, that's a great question. With all due respect to me, buying oranges is a lame example, so sorry about that. As in all spells, you work your magic and then do what is in front of you to do. Things start happening and coming to you that help the spell manifest. That could very well mean you go to the store to buy them, but you are apt to have something very special happen when you do so since magic is involved.
Or perhaps someone just happens so bring you a bag of oranges so you don't have to go to the store. Micro magic though is actually best performed on things that are JUST beyond our sphere of influence; however, it's true that sometimes breaking magic down into ridiculously easy chunks (like buying oranges) is helpful if our faith is low.
MM! I'm so sorry I missed seeing this!! It's been a LONG time since I listened to that lecture. I don't specifically remember that example. Can you tell me how it was used? BB
