At the top of your paper, write the names of the seven archangels, each of whom corresponds to a day of the week and the inner planets. These are:

Draw a Rectangle Below your petition, draw a rectangle. Inside the rectangle, write the full name of your target. If addressing a person, write their first and last name.  If you don't know the name of the person, describe them in two words, such as "noisy neighbor" or "Slandering Troublemaker." For a condition or habit, create a two-word name that represents the issue, for instance, "cigarette addiction," or "persistent guilt." Write the name in block letters without a space between the first and last name. If you are using this to banish a condition, make sure you name your condition using two words and write them together with no space.

For instance:

• A specific person (e.g., “JOHNSMITH”, “NOISYNEIGHBOR”)

• A harmful condition (e.g., “CIGARETTEADDICTION,” or “PERSISTANTGUILT”)

  
  

Reduce the Target’s Power

Begin by writing the target’s name in block letters inside the rectangle (e.g., “JOHN SMITH”). Then, rewrite the name below, removing the first and last letters. Repeat this process until no letters remain.
